There is currently a legal battle between the WWE and CM Punk, and fans are worried in case AJ Lee's name gets dragged into the issue.

Chants of CM Punk break out every time AJ Lee appears, and some have said that WWE organizers could be seeing this negatively, and that this could ultimately endanger Lee's career.

TNA has reportedly tried to have CM Punk sign with them after his departure from WWE.

According to Wresting Inc., "This was done similar to how they reached out to Alberto Del Rio, through an intermediary who is friends with Punk. The idea pitched was said to be a huge deal for Punk to be the top star of the company with pay similar to what Hulk Hogan was making."

"The idea is that Punk could be TNA's flagship star and if he signs now, he could help get a strong TV deal," they added.

Reports say that Punk can make a fortune from TNA just as Hogan did, earning $75,000 per appearance. Not that the former WWE superstar needs the money, as he has reportedly saved more than enough during the height of his wrestling career.

However, TNA has denied that they asked Punk to sign with them, saying that there is no truth to the reports circulating online.

When asked whether he is ever returning to WWE, Punk said, "No. No. No. Never ever. Never ever ever."

"They're going to go crazy about that on Twitter. They're going to hold me to it, and yeah, whatever," he added.
