Cleveland Cavaliers trade rumors update: Love being linked to a move to OKC

In another radical trade rumor circulating in the league, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers are linked to switch their stars.

The Cavaliers' Kevin Love is tied to yet another trade rumor, this time sending him to the Thunder in the west. In return, the Cavaliers are said to be taking in Victor Oladipo.

This looks like an incredible trade as Oladipo has yet to play a regular season game for the Thunder and he is now being linked to a move away.

Many believe that since Love has already won a championship with the Cavaliers, he may look elsewhere to get more playing time and more touches as his role seemingly dwindles with the defending champions.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are looking for a boost in the shooting guard position as they have yet to secure J.R. Smith's contract and may look at Oladipo to fill the void.

There are also talks that bringing in Love to the Thunder will benefit Russell Westbrook more than partnering with Oladipo.

A report links Westbrook and Love together back during their UCLA days. The two share respect for each other and their styles complement each other well as Westbrook is great with the ball while Love can get to his spots and shoot from anywhere in the offensive scheme.

Oladipo arrived to the Thunder and is only with the team for the coming season. He is set to earn around $6.5 million and he averages 15.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists in his career.

On the other hand, Love averages 18.3 points and 11.5 rebounds in his career but has a contract with the Cavaliers that extends up to the 2019-20 campaign. He has a player option in the final year and is set to earn around $21.1 million in the coming season.

It may not make most sense to deal the two players now, but if this proposed trade falls through, it will shake up the contenders and pretenders on both conferences.
