Trade talks have not been new for the Cleveland Cavaliers and it appears they have another name from the roster added to that list.

According to various reports, the Cavs are looking to trade Iman Shumpert after the player's issues off the court. Sources believe that this is due to Shumpert's recent arrest following a DUI back in August. The Cavaliers are trying to distance themselves with anything negative after a successful NBA campaign.

Shumpert is already linked to a move to the Philadelphia 76ers, with the Cavs looking to get Nerlens Noel as a possible option to help them with the center spot.

Another publication also reports that the trade is due to the arrest and that the team wants to maintain a clean slate as they begin the 2016-17 season.

Fan Sided believes there are a lot of reasonable trades that could happen for Shumpert, with the Memphis Grizzlies also a possible destination for the guard. According to the report, Vince Carter and Brandan Wright should be enough for the Grizzlies to get Shumpert. This would definitely add some depth to the Cavaliers as they try to defend their title.

Another possible destination would be the Minnesota Timberwolves in return for Kevin Garnett. For this, it is believed that Garnett could be lured to join the Cavs to get a final shot at a title. This would be good for Shumpert as he will go to a hard-nosed team under the leadership of a good coach in Tom Thibodeau.

Finally, another deal that could be looked at by the Cavaliers is with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers have their own outcast in Nick Young but he could immediately refocus when given the chance to win a ring with LeBron James leading the way.

Having a defensive stalwart is a very welcome addition for the Lakers and that is exactly what Shumpert can give while the Lakers will simply offload Young and possibly another player like Larry Nance, Jr.

There are still so many things that can happen in the coming days but Shumpert should still find a home if Cleveland decides to part ways with him.
