Looking to add even more depth to the team, the Cleveland Cavaliers are eyeing a former NBA player to be their big man in the coming season.

According to reports, the Cavaliers are being linked to big man Andray Blatche to be the team's reliable big man before the season starts.

The Cavaliers are short on centers as Tristan Thompson is the only dependable big man they have at the moment.

Adding Blatche will give them a new dimension as he has shown in recent times that he has a complete game.

Blatche has been out of the NBA since the end of the 2013-14 season when he played for the Brooklyn Nets.

Since then, Blatche has played overseas and even represents the Philippines in their national team.

With the Philippines, Blatche displayed his all-around game as he operates inside and shoots a decent average from beyond the arc which resulted in people wishing his return to the NBA.

During his time in the NBA, Blatche averages 10.1 points per game while shooting around 47 percent from the field.

Blatche enjoyed his best stint back in the 2010-11 season with the Washington Wizards as he averaged 16.8 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.

Morning News USA also mentioned the link between the Cavaliers and Blatche and confirmed that Blatche is still trying to return to the league.

If it does happen, and if he does land in the Cavaliers, it should be a great chance for Blatche to have playoff basketball as he will join the likes of Thompson, Kyrie Irving, and LeBron James and have a realistic chance of winning the NBA title.

And being that he is still in his prime at 29 years old, Blatche will definitely have a lot to offer the Cavaliers or any team that would try to acquire his services.
