'Civilization VI' release date news 2016: New trailer reveals the game's release date

It has already been over five years since the "Sid Meier's Civilization V" came out in the market. While rumors and speculations have surrounded the development of the new installment, fans are happy that they finally have some significant details with regard to the game. It was previous reported that "Civilization VI" will come out five years after its last game title; however, In 2015, game developer Firaxis Games continued to stay mum about the new title, which led fans to believe that the game will no longer come out.
Die hard "Civilization" fanatics refused to believe that the franchise will end at the fifth installment since the series has sold over 3 million units since the game came out 25 years ago.
The game centers on building an empire from the Stone Age to the Information Age. Players are given the opportunity to conduct diplomacy, wage war and develop culture as they come face to face with the prominent personalities from history. The goal is to build an empire that is strong enough to stand the test of time.
