'Civilization VI' release date, gameplay news update: New trailer released; game will come out in October

Game developer Firaxis Games and publisher 2K Games have recently released the teaser video for the upcoming video game, "Civilization VI." It is the first footage for the new game from the "Civilization" franchise since its announcement. According to reports, the new title will present a huge improvement from its last installment.
It has already been announced that the game will be launched on October 21 and fans could no longer wait to know what is in store for them on the upcoming game.
Lead designer Ed Beach said during an interview with Time that the team is working so hard to make sure the new game will captivate a much larger audience.
"We've had five different games in this series, and Civilization V is still very popular. It still has tens of thousands of people a day playing it on Steam," Beach explained. "So we knew that we had to come up with an interesting angle for Civilization VI that would push the series in new directions and try out some things we hadn't tried before."
Meanwhile, Fans were hoping to see footage of the game in action in the first teaser trailer; however, it focuses more on the music created by John Murphy and the narration by the voice actor, Sean Bean. There was also no release date announcement at the end of the trailer, which was rather disappointing to so many followers of the game. Many fans were also expecting to see gameplay details of the upcoming game on the trailer footage.
Cinema Blend reported that although fans were not able to get anything from the trailer, the game's official website is good enough to lay out details of the game, which was absent in the trailer footage.
The online publication added that "Civilization VI" may surprise many players as it is expected to go beyond the norms of the game. The game will still focus on building an empire starting from the Stone Age period up to the modern world. However, just like "Civilization: Beyond Earth," which was released in 2014, the game could go to another era of mankind.
