In less than a month, Sid Meier's "Civilization VI" will be released. The game developers released a special video series that allows players to prepare before the game officially launches.

On Wednesday, Sept. 21, the developers launched a video showing the greatness of the Roman civilization when it was ruled by one of the better emperors of their society. The game introduces the Roman leader Trajan. More importantly, it reveals how the developers incorporated Roman civilization to the forthcoming game.

Given that all roads lead to Rome, trade routes are a significant part of this society. "Not only do all cities start with a trading post, but new cities within trade route range of your capital also start with a road to them," the narrator says.

Rome's military unit is called the Legion. The soldiers are stronger than the previous swordsmen. More importantly, this division can be used to build forts and roads but for a limited number of times.

In order for players to make the most of Rome's abilities, gamers must build cities quickly. Moreover, players should also take advantage of engineering technology.

The previous video released by the developers reveals the Greek civilization. In this particular society, Athenian orator Pericles heads the community. The orator advocated democracy and it was during his reign that Greek society entered its greatest golden age.

The Greek civilization has Plato's Republic as its special ability, which gives players an extra wildcard slot.

The Greek militia is called the Hoplite. When in battle, the unit gets a bonus if other Hoplite soldiers are on adjacent tiles. The Hoplites can defend the community from early aggressive civilizations.

To be victorious, players must ally with city states by placing the acropolis well and the bonus wildcard civic.

The forthcoming 4X video game "Civilization VI" will be launched on Oct. 21 for Microsoft Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.
