'Civilization 6' 25th anniversary edition news: Copies of 'Civ 6' are limited

The 25th Anniversary Edition of "Civilization VI" will be released in less than a month. Gamers who are interested in buying it should probably pre-order it already since the physical bundle of the special edition will have a limited number of copies.

The developers recently announced that the bundle was created to celebrate the legacy of Firaxis Games' strategy series. Moreover, the special edition was created to celebrate the latest installment of the franchise, "Civilization VI."

The special edition will consist of "Civilization VI" and all bonus digital content part of the Digital Deluxe Edition. Furthermore, the bundle will include an Aztec Civilization Pack pre-order bonus. The game will also come with a 100-page hardcover art book titled "Civilization Through the Years." Gamers will also have an exclusive 25th anniversary commemorative coin set with a display case.

To be able to play the game, players need to have the necessary requirements. Players need an Intel Core i3 processor at 2.5 GHz or AMD Phenom II CPU which can run at least run at 2.6 GHz. The system must have at least 4 GB of RAM and has a minimum of 12 GB of storage space. The game should run with 1 GB Nvidia GeForce 450 or AMD 5570 graphics card. Furthermore, players need to have a 64-bit Windows computer. Thus, Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 will do.

The game will allow players to access four post-launch downloadable content (DLC) packs which will include new scenarios, maps, civilizations and leaders. All of the components mentioned will be available in the bundle for a reasonable discount.

The developers advised gamers to avoid purchasing the standalone packs if they purchased the 25th Anniversary Edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition because they will be charged accordingly.

Sources said that the special edition will only have 20,000 copies. Gamers who don't want to miss out can pre-order the 25th Anniversary Edition of "Civilization VI" for $89.99. The game will be launched on Oct. 21.
