'Chicago P.D.' season 4 spoilers: Intelligence unit tracks down drug operation source in episode 5; Burgess poised for promotion?

The body of a college student and a backpack filled with drugs wash up in the lake, further putting pressure on the department to track the source of drug operation in the upcoming episode of NBC's cop drama "Chicago P.D." season 4.
Titled "A War Zone," next week's episode will see the squad pull out all the stops to search for the source of a drug operation. According to the official synopsis for episode 5, Intelligence is tasked with searching for the dealers of fentanyl, a deadly drug that has been linked to numerous overdoses around Chicago. While the team investigates on possible sources, they will uncover several dealers in a college smuggling ring.
Meanwhile, Tay (guest star Li Jun Li) and Burgess (Marina Squerciati) will come across a bloodied child who eventually exposes a twisted and sinister secret about his life with his parents. Mouse (guest star Samuel Hunt) causes tension in the department as he considers to reenlist in the army, while Platt (Amy Morton) tells Tay that she has been reassigned back to her original post.
The Intelligence Unit of "Chicago P.D." is about to have a huge shakeup, following the confirmation that Antonio (Jon Seda) will be leaving next month to join upcoming spinoff series "Chicago Justice." His spot on the team, however, won't stay open for long. "It's going to be filled by somebody but we're not going to add any characters to the show," executive producer Michael Brandt recently told The Hollywood Reporter.
Beat cops Burgess and her new partner Tay are the two potential characters who can take Antonio's spot, with the former looking like the best person for the position. After all, Squerciati has been a series regular since the program debuted, while Li was introduced in the season 4 premiere. "Burgess definitely deserves to move up to Intelligence and that would be a natural move," Brandt added.
The 4th season of "Chicago P.D." airs every Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
