'Chicago PD' season 3 finale spoilers, plot news: Roman makes a difficult decision, things turn personal as Voight's son gets linked to a murder case

Police procedural spinoff series "Chicago P.D." season 3 ends tomorrow, and fans can only hope that important plotlines and issues will finally be addressed.
Roman will have to make a tough decision after the injuries he had. He must decide if he will be fine spending his days at the department behind a desk or if he will take some time away from work. "He's presented with the option of – because of the injuries – staying on but in a limited capacity in the police department or taking a walk," executive producer Matt Olmstead told Entertainment Weekly. "He has to decide if it's important to him to help out in any way he can, or is the prospect of a desk job not what he's up for? In his mind, he weighs it evenly between, 'If I can't be a full cop on the street then I'm not going to be a cop at all.'"
According to the official synopsis for tomorrow's season 3 finale titled "Start Digging," things will turn personal when Voight's son becomes linked to a case the department is working on. The team discovers a dead body in the trunk of a car, who is later on identified as a "widowed, single mother." What makes the story more interesting is the fact that the victim was constantly contacting Voight's (Jason Beghe) "now-reformed" son Justin (guest star Josh Segarra) before she was found dead. Lindsay (Sophia Bush) and Voight find out later that Justin has also been attacked the same way, and he suffered from severe injuries. Antonio (Jon Seda) and the team know that Voight is determined to look for the person who hurt his son. On another note, Roman (Brian Geraghty) must come up with a decision with regards to his status in the department while Commander Crowley (guest star Barbara Eve Harris) lays out his plans for the unit.
What will be Roman's decision? How will this mess affect Voight and the whole department? Know the answers in the season 3 finale of "Chicago P.D." which airs tomorrow at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
