Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer) finds himself in the middle of a dire situation in the upcoming episode of NBC's hit drama "Chicago Fire" season 5.

Titled "Nobody else is Dying Today," the episode airing next week will see one of the team in danger. According to the official synopsis for episode  4, Casey is checking out a warehouse as part of his Alderman's responsibilities when all of a sudden, a forklift accidentally pierces through a tank—causing an extremely hazardous acid spill. With a father and daughter's lives on the line, Casey is compelled to resort to extreme measures just to solve the situation.

Elsewhere, Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Brett (Kara Killmer) are called to respond to an elderly woman who has a difficult senior advocate. Mouch (Christian Stolte) and Brett continue working on their secret project together, while Otis (Yuri Sardarov) reveals some exciting news while he prepares himself for a special expedition.

On another note, it seems that Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Kidd's (Miranda Rae Mayo) relationship isn't shaping up well. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly's Spoiler Room segment, executive producer Micahel Brandt revealed what's next for the pair.

"Severide is always going to be Severide, and I don't think, as writers, we're ready to tie Severide down yet," he explained. "It's fun watching him do his thing. Kidd is a wildcard though, and she's very interesting and she's got a lot of spunk—she's the kind of girl that Severide would be attracted to, but she's also not the kind of girl who's going to fall for his antics. So, for now, we're being true to who the characters are and neither one of them is ready to make the move fully towards the other one."
