'Charmed' reboot news, release date: Alyssa Milano open to a reunion

Dubbed as the first primetime series to feature a coven of witches, rumor has it that "Charmed" might be coming back to TV screens soon.
There have been talks of a series reboot way back 2013, and there also have been reports that a revival of the show might not happen because the original "Charmed" is a tough act to follow. No word yet from CBS with regards to a final date of release but actress Alyssa Milano confirmed that a series reboot is definitely in the works.
Milano is one of the lead roles in the original show, and in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she said that a reunion can happen at any given time. The actress also expressed that she is keeping her doors open if in case she gets invited for a reunion with everyone in the show she has worked with. "We are all open for [a Charmed reunion]! It seems like that's going to happen any second. I just feel like with all these reunions, and we still have such a cult following, that I feel like someone's going to put that together at some point, and we're all totally on board for that!" she said.
This is in spite of her previous rift with co-actress Shannen Doherty, who she had issues with while the show is still running. Their difficulties were not resolved, leading the producers to just kill the character of Doherty in the show to end their fight. However, Milano says everything is okay with them and time mended all their differences. Now, she is more than willing to work with Doherty again, especially if it is for a "Charmed" reboot.
