"I think it's going to be awesome," Fisher added in regard to fatherhood.

"I've always tried to balance things out in life," Fisher told The Tennessean. "I think that's important, and obviously kids are going to add a different dynamic that I can't wait for."

Underwood joked to People in February that she excited to get back in shape following the pregnancy.

"I'm looking forward to reclaiming my body," the country music star said. "I've been saying it's been on loan for the past many months."

"Sometimes I'll be with my husband and I'm like, 'I'm going to be a mom. You're going to be a dad. Like, is this real life?' But we're really excited," Underwood also said of the excitement of parenthood.
