The premiere of Marvel's upcoming feature film, "Captain America: Civil War," is almost upon the viewers and it is expected to have a load of action-packed sequences especially that this movie will be the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to pit two opposing factions of the Earth's mightiest superheroes against each other. However, the outcome of this mega showdown between Team Cap and Team Iron Man may not be a good one, as it was rumored that the movie will also feature the death of a major character.

Captain America himself, Chris Evans has teased the death of a well-loved character in the Marvel films, and its implications to the future films in the MCU could be very big. In an interview with Extra as reported by Yibada, Evans revealed that during Cap's showdown with Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), someone will "walk out" in the fight while there will be others who will not. He did not go further in revealing the information as it would spoil a lot for the fans who have waited for months to witness the epic superhero battle. However, there is a strong speculation that the fallen hero would be James Rhodes a.k.a. War Machine (Don Cheadle) because he was seen in the trailers to have sustained serious injury during the civil war that may lead to his death.

On the other hand, the superhero who will take the final bow in the movie might be Captain America himself, especially if Marvel has decided to follow the story of the original "Civil War" comic book. If so, the movie will feature Steve Rogers' death after many years of being kept alive by the serum that gave him superhuman strength and skills.

"Captain America: Civil War" will hit the North American theaters on May 6. The third "Captain America" installment is directed by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo, who also directed the second installment, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."
