It seems that more and more video games are coming out with their own version of holiday-themed packs. Activision jumps on the bandwagon by announcing that "Call of Duty" has holiday downloadable content (DLC) bonuses for the titles "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered."

Activision just announced that it is giving some holiday gifts to the players of "Call of Duty." One of these gifts is that all those who have the "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" and "Infinite Warfare" will be able to get a prototype model of the Hailstorm pistol.

The pistol has two perks: Whirlwind and Focus. Whirlwind causes the pistol to fire at a faster rate and increased recoil. Focus, on the other hand, decreases the "idle sway" of the gun, especially when aiming at a target. The Hailstorm pistol also comes with a three-round burst.

The "Infinite Warfare" has a holiday-themed Genesis map, titled the Genesis Holiday. But wait, there's more, the map also comes with a 24/7 playlist to get the game grooving. As for "Modern Warfare Remastered," there are new maps and modes included in its holiday DLC.

This was already announced by Activision stating that they are adding six additional remastered maps from the original ones. This includes Countdown, Showdown, Wet Work, Bloc and Strike. This makes a total of 16 maps, which is scheduled to arrive on Dec. 13. This is also the date when the Gun Game mode and the Hardpoint mode will be released.

Fans of "Call of Duty" surely remember that Activision initially announced the release of 10 maps in the remastered version, but the company has been more generous by giving out 16.

Furthermore, "Modern Warfare Remastered" offers a Winter Crash map and will hold a 24/7 playlist that begins on Dec. 20 and will run throughout the holiday season.

"Modern Warfare Remastered" is included in the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" special edition and was released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PC on Nov. 4.
