'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' DLC release, news, updates: 'Eclipse' to include new 'Zombies' chapter

It was not too long ago when Treyarch Studios first revealed the second DLC pack for its widely popular shooter video game "Call of Duty: Black Ops III." Following the first content updates from "Awakening," the second DLC called "Eclipse" is expected to include new playable maps and a fresh game chapter.
Treyarch recently teased the game community anew with new several images and trailer videos, showing more exciting gameplay elements and features to be experienced by the players once the upcoming DLC pack is loaded. One of the most exciting features of "Eclipse" is the new chapter in the "Zombies" story called "Zetsubou No Shima." The chapter will explore an isolated island in the middle of the Pacific with a team of origin heroes comprised of Takeo Masaki, Edward Richtofen, Nikolai Belinski and Tank Dempsey. The hero characters will also find themselves in the laboratory where the mysterious Element 115 was first formulated.
In the promotional stills and videos, the new Knockout map was shown for a short time but the design of the location can be seen. The map preview shows a Shaolin temple setting and more forms of Japanese architecture. Also, the latest official trailer for "Eclipse" reveals new sewer connections and ziplines which the players can use to escape from several groups of zombies. A massive horde of zombies shown in the video includes what seem to be former soldiers, plants, and spiders, as reported by the Bitbag. Aside from Knockout, the other new locations completing the four major multiplayer maps in "Eclipse" are the Spire, Verge and Rift.
A recent discussion in Reddit forms may suggest that the "Eclipse" DLC pack can now be downloaded in Europe. However, the discussions state that those who have bought the Season Pass of "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" will not be able to pre-load the content pack just yet. As WCCFTech reported, the download of the DLC pack can be initiated after purchase. The reported size of the "Eclipse" DLC pack is around 7.2 GB.
"Eclipse" DLC will arrive in PS4 consoles on April 19, with the release on PC and Xbox One expected after a month. It can be purchased individually for USD $15 from the official Call of Duty: Black Ops III website.
