The past few days have seen quite a lot of updates for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," the hit shooter video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision.

First, the special multiplayer map called "Nuk3town," which is the reimagining of the original fan favorite "Nuketown" map "in Call of Duty: Black Ops" and "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" (known as 'Nuketown 2025), will be made available for all "Black Ops 3" players. The second news is about the first downloadable content for "Black Ops 3" called "Awakening" that is scheduled to become available in Xbox One and Microsoft Windows PC this March. Lastly, the "Black Market" of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," just had an all-new set of content for players to choose from.

It was announced before that the "Nuk3town" map will be available in multiplayer mode for those who made pre-orders during the game's beta testing period. Activision's Communications Manager Scott Lowe announced earlier this week through the Activision Games Blog that all players of PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC can now have Nuk3town for free.

"While originally offered as a Bonus Map, today, we're excited to announce that 'Nuk3town' will be available to all players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for free starting today, and to celebrate, Treyarch will be adding a Nuk3town 24/7 (Multiplayer) Playlist to 'Black Ops 3' for the next week." Lowe stated in his blog.

Aside from the new map, "Black Ops 3" players can now have the Nuk3town Personalization Pack, which includes Nuk3town themed Weapon Camo, three Nuk3town themed weapon reticles, and a Nuk3town-themed calling card.

Regarding the first DLC of "Black Ops 3," the release of "Awakening" is expected this month for Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. It was first released on PlayStation 4 on Feb. 2 that includes four new multiplayer maps (Skyjacked, Rise, Splashed, and Gauntlet) and a new Zombies map called "Der Eisendrache."

In the game's Black Market, fresh new additions were introduced such as 2 new weapons, 3 new melee weapons, new taunts and gestures, and new Specialist gear sets. These items can be obtained from the Black Market through Common or Rare Supply Drops using Cryptokeys or COD points.
