"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" players who are fans of the new "Zombies" mode but missed out on playing its revamped map, "The Giant," can now get it as a stand-alone offering.

"The Giant," which is a remake of the "Call of Duty: World at War" map "Der Riese," is currently available as an a la carte purchase for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" gamers on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The new DLC was announced on the "Call of Duty" Twitter page on Friday, June 3. "The Giant is now available for purchase on PS4, Xbox One, PC, & PS3. More info: http://bit.ly/1TRJl0p #BO3Zombies," the tweet said.

The link led to the Activision Games blog, which featured a lengthier description of "The Giant," as well as a trailer for "The Giant" bonus map.

According to Activision, "The Giant" was previously only available as a bonus, which was included with the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Juggernog Edition, Digital Deluxe Editions, Hardened Edition, and Season Pass. Now, "The Giant" bonus map is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC at a suggested retail price of $5.99.

For players on last-gen platforms, "The Giant" is also now available as an a la carte purchase for PlaysStation 3. It is currently unavailable for other last-gen platforms but could be in the future.

"The Giant" brings players back to a secret research facility from the Treyarch classic "Der Riese" map, continuing the Zombies story with "Origins" characters Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo as they fight hordes of the undead.

Meanwhile, the "Call of Duty" Endowment Valor Calling Card set, which was announced over the Memorial Day weekend, is still currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The special new promo allows players to purchase a new calling card set to support Activision's military veterans' charity.

The sets come in three variants: sea, land, and air. They are available for purchase at $4 per set.

According to GameSpot, all proceeds from the C.O.D.E. Valor Calling card sets go to Activision's Call of Duty Endowment, which provides funds to military veterans trying to find jobs after their time in the military.
