Reality television personality Bruce Jenner has said that he is "praying" for those victims of a car crash he was involved in in Los Angeles, California over the weekend.

Jenner, a former Olympian athlete, was involved in a car accident with four other vehicles on Pacific Coast Highway in Los Angeles on Saturday. One woman was killed after her Lexus collided with a Toyota Prius. Jenner's car, a Cadillac Escalade, then rear-ended her Lexus, pushing her to collide with oncoming traffic.

Photos from the scene of the crash indicate Jenner took an onsite breathalyzer test, which he past, and even agreed to go into the police station for a blood test to ensure he wasn't impaired at the time of the accident.

Jenner's phone will also reportedly be searched to ensure he wasn't texting during the accident.

"My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident," the 65-year-old said in a statement via his publicist, Alan Nierob.

"It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible."

Jenner has been in the news recently due to his separation from wife of 22 years Kris Kardashian and rumors that he is planning to transition into a female.

"The evidence will show that Bruce was not texting at the time of the accident," Nierob confirmed in a statement Sunday.
