'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' season 4 spoilers news: Jake and Amy share awkward reunion; Jim O'Heir returns as guest star
The hunt for Figgis begins in the upcoming episode of Fox's hit cop comedy series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4.

Titled "Coral Palms Pt. 3," next week's episode will see the team on their first road trip together. According to the official synopsis, the gang will drive all the way to Florida to try to help Jake (Andy Samberg) and Holt (Andre Braugher) in their mission to take down Jimmy "The Butcher" Figgis (guest star Eric Roberts, "Suits"). With an unforeseen disaster and yet another interruption by Sheriff Reynolds (guest star Jim O'Heir, "Parks and Recreation"), the mission doesn't go as they all had planned. In the midst of the mayhem, lovers Amy (Melissa Fumero) and Jake share an awkward reunion.
Tuesday's episode saw the series welcome its second main "Parks and Recreation" alum, as Jim O'Heir made a guest appearance as a slightly racist and homophobic Florida sheriff. To recap, episode 2 featured Jake and Holt hell-bent on tracking down mob boss Figgis to finally end his evil deeds. While still in Florida under the witness protection program, Jake and Holt ended up on the other side of the interrogation table after they were arrested by none other than O'Heir's Sheriff Reynolds.
Jake and Holt, who had been posing as a couple, decided to finally tell the truth and revealed that they are actually police officers from Brooklyn under the witness protection program. Reynolds, however, still didn't buy their story. In an effort to escape, Jake and Holt ended up kissing to freak out the homophobic sheriff and take the opportunity to flee.
In a recent sit-down interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Dan Goor confirmed that O'Heir will be back for episode 3. He also expressed his hopes in seeing the return of many previous guest stars.
"We do see him [O'Heir] again in episode three," Goor revealed. "After that, there are a few people from Florida that will be really fun to see in Brooklyn, if we can figure out a way to get them there—or if our guys had to go back to Florida—and one of them is definitely Jim. I think it'd be really fun to see Maya Rudolph and her U.S. Marshal again. We always try to bring people back if we can."
The fourth season of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" airs every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
