"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 will see a mini-"Saturday Night Live" reunion when the hit Fox comedy series returns this Fall.

Maya Rudolph joins her SNL co-star Andy Samberg for a multi-episode arc when the fourth season returns this Fall. The actress-comedienne is set to guest star for two episodes and she will portray a yet-to-be-named U.S. Marshall. her character will serve as a liaison to Jake (Samberg) and Holt (Andre Braugher) while staying in Florida in line with the witness protection program. Rudolph's first appearance will be in the season 4 premiere.

The third season left off with Jake and Holt living next door to each other and going by the names Greg and Larry. According to co-creator Dan Goor, the duo won't be returning to New York soon. While spending time in Florida, they will discover more about each other and probably have a closer relationship. "We plan on spending some time there [in Florida]," he explained, further saying that "they're going to have to live in this situation for a little while."

Goor also mentioned the possibility of unstable detective Adrian Pimento (Jason Mantzoukas) returning early in the season. "We can assume we will see the return of Pimento," he continued. "That's just a question of when the writers get together and also [the] availability of Mantzoukas. We love Mantzoukas, and I think he had a really good time on the show, and he will definitely be coming back."

As for Charles (Joe Lo Truglio), Goor says he is excited to see how the detective will be as a father when the show returns. Looking at how Charles treats his dog, it would be interesting to see how much care he will give to his baby. "That's a story line we definitely want to hit right away," Goor stated. "I think that it will lead to changes in his dynamic with Terry, who is obviously the consummate father, and also with Gina, who is now an aunt, whether she wants to be or not."
