"Parks and Recreation" alum Jim O'Heir is set to be the second main cast member of the defunct political comedy sitcom to guest-star in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

O'Heir, who played Jerry in "Parks" for seven seasons, will appear in the second episode of season 4 as a policeman who bumps into Jake (Andy Samberg) and Holt (Andre Braugher) in Florida, Entertainment Weekly has learned. In the season 3 finale of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," it was revealed that Jake and Holt were living under witness protection in Florida following their successful takedown of a mafia-run criminal enterprise.

O'Heir follows fellow "Parks" grad Nick Offerman, who guest-starred as Holt's ex-boyfriend in season 3. Michael Schur, who co-created "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," also co-created "Parks and Recreation."

Apart from O'Heir, the upcoming fourth season of the Fox police procedural sitcom will also feature a guest spot by "Reaper" alum Ken Marino. Marino will play the role of the precinct captain who replaces Holt while the latter is in Florida. EW also notes that "Saturday Night Live" alum Jorma Taccone is set to take on the role of Taylor, Holt's new boss at Frank's Fun Zone.

In a recent interview with the outlet, Samberg spoke about Taccone's guest spot, saying, "The [writers] came up with this character, and ['Brooklyn' co-creator] Dan Goor was like, 'Do you think this is right for Jorma?' and I was like, 'Oh, 100 percent!'"

In addition, "Cheers" alum Rhea Perlman and "Bridesmaids" star Maya Rudolph are also set to guest-star in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4.

Meanwhile, Samberg and Goor recently previewed the tension that will be brewing between Jake and Amy (Melissa Fumero) in the upcoming season.

Speaking with EW, Samberg said that Jake's stint in the witness protection program will negatively affect his and Amy's relationship.

"It's not putting it in jeopardy," the actor said, "But they miss each other a lot. Eventually they will see each other again and it's hard for them to get back into sync."

"It's awkward to make up time after not seeing each other for six months," Goor added. "When they first see each other, that might cause some tension."

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 debuts on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
