After an awful plane trip, Abbi and Ilana's adventures will continue in the upcoming fourth season of hit comedy series "Broad City."

Season 4 may still be a few months away from its premiere, but it's never too early to talk about what the quirky duo will be up to. Although new details remain under wraps, stars Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer already confirmed that the upcoming installment will be shot later this year. Typically, the series shoots in the summer, but it will go through a major behind-the-scene change for season 4 - which will be filmed during the winter months in New York City. "It's going to be so painful and exciting. Imagine if 'Lockout' happened in the winter!" Glazer beamed. Jacobson also expressed her optimism, saying how the angle provides something fresh for the program. "It's a totally different landscape for the show," she said.

The third season left off with Abbi and Ilana being apprehended while boarding a flight to Israel. During the flight, Abbi unexpectedly got her period but left her tampons since she was forced to check her carry-on bag at the gate. While Abbi and Ilana struggle to find tampons, two flight attendants overhear Abbi describing her period as an "explosion," leading the duo to be denied entrance to Israel.

Aside from working on the show's upcoming season, co-creator and star Jacobson is currently busy on her upcoming new book which will be out in October. Through a short Instagram video, the actress/artist gave her fans a look at the covers of her new project "Carry This Book." As noted by publisher Penguin Random House, Jacobson's book consists of "actual and imagined" items which are found in people's bags, pockets, as well as purses.

Aside from "Carry This Book," Jacobson has previously published two adult coloring books: "Color This Book: New York City" and "Color This Book: San Francisco." Both works were first published back in 2013.

The fourth season of "Broad City" is expected to premiere early next year on Comedy Central, while Jacobson's "Carry This Book" will hit the shelves on Oct. 25.
