'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' chapter 3 news 2016: Closely follows movie title, but acquaints fans with new ninja
After the long wait for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" chapter 3, not much has been heard about the reception of the newest offering of the manga after it was released days ago. That is, except for some disappointment that most of it was not much different from the movie, "Boruto: Naruto the Movie," which follows the adventures of the same character, Boruto. The movie had been released earlier this year.

However, fans were able to get acquainted with some new ninja introduced in the latest outing of the manga. It takes up the story where "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" chapter 2 left off: the Chunin Exams.
The chapter opened with a scene on a train bound for Konoha, showing passengers on board, including Kankuro and Gaara and three other ninja nearby. Kankuro asked the three if they were prepared for the Chunin Exams.
From among the three near Kankuro, the genin in a mask was the only one to reply. The other two, the kunoichi who just went on singing and the boy, Gaara's son Shinki, whose face was heavily marked, remained cloaked and silent.
The Chunin Exams began the next day, proctored by Sai. The testing was in two parts and performed in teams. Various tests were given, including True or False eliminations, where even Boruto and his team were eliminated. The second test was a sort of capture the flag game among teams where the ninja used their various skills.
On the first day, Shinki displays his sand jutsu as his team falls into a pit.
On the second test, unfortunately, as opponents kill off his Shadow clones and go after his team's flag, Boruto is tempted to use the ninjutsu device which a scientist had given him back in the previous chapter of the manga. He summons a Water jutsu as well as a Lightning jutsu. He is caught by one of the assistants on the exam, and Boruto is marked for it.
Here ends this third chapter of "Bouto: Naruto Next Generations."
The third chapter, along with the first two ones, almost cover the whole length of the movie.
