'Boruto' chapters 8, 9 spoilers: Boruto to stand up against Momoshiki; manga to get anime adaptation in 2017

Thanks to Katasuke's unwelcomed appearance, Momoshiki has now gained a huge advantage against Naruto and his team. Now that the adults have been trapped by the adversary's imitation of Shikamaru's Shadow Bind technique, it is up to his son to try and take Momoshiki down in the next chapter of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations."
Katasuke's desire to prove that his Kote can hold its own in a shinobi battle has just endangered them all after the incapacitated Momoshiki ended up absorbing every ninjutsu the scientist fired from his device. The newly reinvigorated Momoshiki wasted no time at all and went on to use Shadow Bind technique to keep the kages and Sasuke in place while he prepared his finishing attack.
But Boruto has also begun forming his Rasengan as he set out to prove himself worthy of his master, Sasuke's, trust. But seeing as he's obviously not a match against Momoshiki's immense powers, Bortu will have to rely on his wit and natural instincts as a shinobi in order to pull a fast one on the enemy, and thus have a better chance of defeating him.
Does Naruto's son really have what it takes to turn the battle around and bring the advantage back to their side? Or will he end up being just another liability that puts every else's lives at more risk than they are right now?
"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" is a manga series drawn and written by Mikio Ikemoto and is published every month on the "Weekly Shounen Jump" magazine.
In other news, it has just been announced during the recently held Jump Festa in Japan that "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will be getting an anime adaptation courtesy of Studio Pierrot. The upcoming anime series is scheduled to premiere in April 2017 on TV Tokyo. The list of new voice actors as well as the returning ones has also been released, with Yuuko Sanpei taking top helm as Boruto's voice, and Junko Takeuchi keeping up with her role as Naruto.
The anime series will reportedly be a sequel to "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" that was released in 2015.
