The Jeffersonian team are tasked to investigate on yet another case, as they try to find evidences leading to the suspect behind the murder of an acapella singer.

In tonight's episode, Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) will encounter a case involving the murder of a college student from Lynwood University.

According to the official synopsis, the student also happens to be the leader of the university's all-male acapella singing group called "The Whippersnaps," and his body was discovered in the school's rat lab. The suspect might be one of the victim's acapella groupmates, as he recently kicked out one of the best singers in the group â€” Ian Jansen (guest star Jordan Fisher). This led Booth and Aubrey (John Boyd) to question Ian along with the other members (guest stars Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying) of the group. The two also took the opportunity to question members of the competing female acapella group (including guest star Kristin Maldonado) as well, in order to understand their group dynamics and how it led to the murder of someone in their field.

On another note, some shocking new details concerning Aubrey's own college life have surfaced. Hodgins (TJ Thyne) takes part in a study about experimental nerve regeneration while Booth arranges a summer vacation trip with Parker (guest star Gavin MacIntosh). The Jeffersonian lab will also have a new intern (guest star B.K. Cannon).

As seen in the promo clip for "The Strike in the Chord," Booth and Aubrey barge in a room where the male acapella group is rehearsing, interrupting them from what they are doing. However, a "shocking secret" from Aubrey might complicate the case.

Stay tuned for all-new episodes of "Bones" season 11 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
