"Blue Bloods" will soon hit the small screen for its seventh season, and fans can't wait to see what the CBS procedural will bring to the table when it returns this Fall. Two guest stars have been confirmed to join the cast for the upcoming premiere: Lori Loughlin and Michael Imperioli.

Loughlin, who is best known for her role in "Fuller House," will portray the character of Grace.
She is a widow of a slain New York City police officer and puts Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) in a tough spot when she asks for his help to stop her son from becoming a cop. Considering the current events involving real-life police officers, this could be a harrowing story arc.

"The Sopranos" star Imperioli will play the role of Miller, a determined lawyer who works in the attorney general's office. He will spearhead an investigation to know more about Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and the death of notorious serial killer Thomas Wilder.

"Blue Bloods" may already be in its seventh year, but it remains as the most-watched series every Friday night. There are speculations that the show might come to an end sometime in the near future, but the network has yet to give a statement on the procedural's fate. Production officially began last week and Tom Selleck also renewed his contract as one of the lead characters Police Commissioner Frank Reagan. Aside from being the head of the New York City police force, he is also the patriarch of the Reagan brood — a multigenerational family of cops.

Joining Selleck are other members of the cast including Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynihan, Will Estes, Amy Carlson, Marissa Ramirez, Tony Terraciano, Andrew Terraciano and Sami Gayle.

Tune in for more episodes of "Blue Bloods" season 7 which premieres on Friday, Sept. 23 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
