'Bloodline' season 3 news 2016: Show renewed but filming location still under wraps

"Bloodline" season 3 is a go, after a suspenseful wait and tons of speculation. Fans can finally rest easy knowing they can expect a continuation of the Rayburns' story. Avid followers of the dark family drama from Netflix are looking forward to getting some answers about the Rayburns and what the next season will bring for them. Many have also been wanting to find out whether John Rayburn (Kyle Chandler) will be sticking around at the Florida Keys or moving out.
It is not clear as yet whether the filming location for the third season of "Bloodline" will still be the Florida Keys. The streaming giant is currently in talks to resolve the issue of the tax incentives which expired this month, reports say.
The production was said to be plagued by problems regarding the location which has always been in Florida. "Bloodline" will face some budget concerns if the incentives will no longer hold true for a third run of the show.
What is clear though is that fans will get the chance to be reunited with their favorite dysfunctional family. The Rayburns are expected to return in a 10-episode run next year, and so the original cast shall be there when "Bloodline" season 3 opens, including Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn as Danny, Linda Cardellini as Meg, Sissy Spacek as Sally, and Norbert Leo Butz as Kevin.
As for the show's renewal, "Bloodline" showrunners and executive producers, Daniel Zelman, Glenn Kessler and Todd Kessler, have said that the plan had always been for the show to run for more seasons. There is no lack for material to create more episodes, and there is much more about the characters that fans will eventually find out.
The focus will be on John's none-too-good imminent future. Danny will also be a continuing force for influencing the story and the characters on the show, despite the fact that the character already died in season 1.
