The Florida Keys-based Rayburn family will soon return to the small screen as "Bloodline" season 2 begins streaming on Netflix this coming Friday. Season 1 left off with Danny Rayburn's (Ben Mendelsohn) unexpected death, and the upcoming season will shed light on the events after his murder.

Danny was killed by his own brother John (Kyle Chandler), and season 2 will see their siblings Meg (Linda Cardellini) and Kevin (Norbert Leo Butz) do everything they can to cover up that crime. "The remaining siblings are trying to deal with what's happened," Cardellini said. "They're in survival mode."

The unfortunate event  fractured the once close-knit family, as the siblings are now at odds with each other. However, Mendelsohn already signed for season 2 which means that he will definitely be in the other characters' thoughts. As seen in the trailer, Wayne Lowry found proof to implicate John in his brother's death. Will John consider killing Wayne as well? "I don't know," Kyle Chandler, who portrays John told TV Line. "He may commit a second murder in Season 2. I have a personal feeling on it, but I don't want to say because it might be a spoiler or something."

In terms of Danny appearing in John's thoughts, Chandler mentioned that he does not want to call it a "common thread" all throughout the season. "I wouldn't call it a common thread... You just have to watch and see," he said. "People will [interpret] it differently. It's not like John is walking around with Danny day-in and day-out, like instead of a large rabbit he's a dead brother. I think [the device] was used really well."

Actress Sissy Spacek  is also back as the family's matriarch Sally, and she hinted that the audience will have to hold on to their seats once they see the show. "This season starts and it doesn't let up. It moves fast," she told Variety during the season 2 premiere last Tuesday.

"Bloodline" season 2 can be watched on Netflix starting May 27, Friday.
