'Blindspot' season 2 episode 9 spoilers: Jane stops an impending Sandstorm attack, will the team find Weller?

Jane (Jaimie Alexander) tries to stop an attack in the upcoming episode of NBC's mystery action drama "Blindspot" season 2.

Titled "Why Let Cooler Pasture Deform," next week's episode will see Jane in a life-threatening situation. According to the official synopsis for episode 9, Jane learns that Sandstorm is gearing up for an impending attack. Upon realizing how great the damage will be, Jane risks everything to send a secret message to her FBI team and inform them about the danger they will face.

Before Jane learns about Sandstorm's plan, she must first deal with yet another mission that takes an unexpected turn. In tonight's 8th episode, Patterson (Ashley Johnson), Zapata (Audrey Esparza) and Reade (Rob Brown) will go out of their way and become criminals as they search for answers. Jane is expected to return safely to the FBI headquarters after a mission with Weller (Sullivan Stapleton), but her partner won't be back with her. This will encourage Nas Kamal (Archie Panjabi) to find another way to get to him.

While having a conversation with Jane and Reade (Rob Brown) in the latest sneak peak, Nas tells the duo that her plans will not involve anyone from Kurt's team. Jane insists that they should be there for Weller since they always protect each other in the team. At some point in the clip, Nas eventually agreed to Jane's request and allowed everyone on board.

In the show's last episode titled "Resolves Eleven Myths," viewers saw the return of Rich Dotcom (Ennis Esmer). The former rich tech criminal's last appearance in the show was when he escaped FBI custody, but he is now back on their radar.
