After the recent launch of the Passport in three major cities simultaneously, Blackberry has found itself back in the smartphone race. Next up for the Canadian based company is the release of the Blackberry Classic in November of 2014.
Among the features that are returning to the Classic, which is also known as the Blackberry Q20, are the physical navigation keys. These keys make up its tool belt otherwise known as trackpad. This new screen allows webpages to be viewed easily and upto 60 characters can be viewed at once on the screen. The processor on the Blackberry Classic Q20 is said to be a dual core 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon S4 which features 2GB of RAM. The Franchise Herald also notes that while officially nothing much has been released about the Blackberry Q20, unofficially leaked pictures of a prototype have shown that it will have stereo speakers and slots for either a microSD or a nano-SIM .
Another important feature of the Blackberry Classic is its operating system. As per the report by The Franchise Herald a new OS is being released for the phone and it is going to be the 10.3 version from Blackberry. As for price the phone is rumored to be anywhere in the range of $235 to $250.
