Microsoft is getting ahead of everyone and opens its great deals a few days before this year's Black Friday.

A week before the Black Friday, head of Xbox Live Larry Hryb a.k.a. Major Nelson promised that Microsoft will be bringing the "biggest Black Friday sale ever."

Since Xbox games are also being offered by other department stores on their Black Friday sale, it will not hurt if Microsoft wants its avid gamers and supporters to directly get the titles from them. Thus, Microsoft opens its own sale a few days earlier than everyone else.

According to Major Nelson's official blog, it will start offering its sale deals today, Nov. 22 for everyone. Deals will cover games, music, apps, movies and TVs.

Some of the highlighted Xbox One games are "Battlefield 1" with 25 percent discount, "FIFA 17" with an even bigger 30 percent off the regular price and "NBA 2K17" with 20 percent markdown. Xbox Live Gold members can get these for even bigger price cuts at 33 percent, 40 percent and 30 percent off, respectively.

In addition, it is also a great holiday for Xbox 360 gamers as they can get "Red Dead Redemption," "Skate 3" and "Call of Duty: Black Ops" with 40 percent discount from the original price while "Madden 17" is offered at 30 percent lower than the regular cost. Xbox 360 players and Xbox Live Gold members can get the first three mentioned titles for up to 50 percent discount while the latter at 40 percent off.

So far, Major Nelson listed a wide array of game titles included in its Black Friday offers. "This year, we are putting some of the best games in our lineup on sale, including fan favorites. Throughout the week there will be over 250 deals on games across Xbox One and Xbox 360, as well as backward compatibility games that you can play on either console," says Major Nelson.

Major Nelson keeps an updated list of the games and their respective deals through his official website.

In the official video announcement of Xbox Black Friday 2016 deals, it teases that the company will offer from 40 up to more than 50 percent discount on popular game titles. If that is not enticing enough, Microsoft teased everyone to "come back on Nov. 25 for more deals."

Xbox Store deals opened a few days earlier, last Nov. 18, for Xbox Live Gold members.
