Best Smartphones of 2015: iPhone 7, Galaxy S6 and Note 5 Review, Specs Comparison

Many new smartphone models are coming out in 2015, but the phones generating most anticipation are the iPhone 7, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5. These models are generating the most excitement because of the features they are rumored to contain.

Sources say the next smartphone from Apple will be called either the iPhone 7 or the iPhone 6s. Regardless of the name, it is expected to wow it customers. One feature on the iPhone 7 which has been reported widely is its dual lens camera with the capability to take DSLR-quality photos. Another feature that is being rumored is its "sidewall display" which will stretch the screen up to the sides of the phone, giving the impression of seamlessness. While this display could make the iPhone 7 thicker than the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, it could also see the use Liquidmetal for the body and Sapphire glass for the screen.

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S6 next year. Sources say the device is going to feature a quad HD screen with SuperAMOLED Technology, which will be an improvement on the usual full HD screen. It also appears that the company will take on larger phablets like the Nexus 6 and LG 3 by providing the phone with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 screen pixels.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5, meanwhile, will aim to improve on the design and features present in the Galaxy Note Edge, which featured a curved display. This could mean the company is aiming for a resolution in the range of 600 pixels per inch. Powering the phablet will be 4 GB of RAM coupled with an octa core processor. Sources say Samsung could include fingerprint and retina scanners in its upcoming device.
