'Battlefield 5' release date and DLC rumors: New Leaks suggest 2016 release with a series of DLC on deck

"Battlefield 5" has been the subject of numerous rumors and speculations for the past months. Ever since the developer revealed its plan to make a new installment of DICE's highly successful series, fans and critics have been bringing out rumors after rumors regarding its release date and gameplay.

With new reports emerging, which suggest specific release date details, it is expected to hype up the game even more before the company decides to launch the highly anticipated sequel of "Battlefield."

According to the latest leak that was posted by a certain Reddit user, KoXin, it shows the timeline of the upcoming game and its DLC updates. The series of images were shared by different tech news sites; however, no one from DICE could validate if the document is real or not. Nevertheless, the information in the images brought interesting angles to the game.

According to the document, the first DLC will be released on Dec. 6 of this year. The initial expansion is said to be titled "Battlefield 5: Eastern Front," which allows players to fight along with allies from Europe against the invading Russian military forces. The DLC will add major cities in Europe as battlegrounds including Minsk and Kiev.

The second DLC will be titled as "Battlefield 5: Fallen Dragon," which will is said to be set in the maps from the previous game, "Battlefield 4." The third expansion according to the leak information is "Battlefield 5: Prototype Warfare," which involves battles on vehicles. The DLC is said to bring players into the future.

The fourth DLC will allegedly be called "Battlefield 5: Titan Assault." In this expansion, gamers will experience a battle that would be set in the vast Pacific Ocean. Furthermore, "Titan Conquest" mode will be introduced in this expansion. The fifth DLC in the document does not have a game title yet.

Although the latest information brings no basis as of the moment, many fans believe that they could be possibly right. "Battlefield 5" is expected to be announced anytime soon, fans may have to wait for the official reveal before taking these rumors seriously.
