'Battlefield 1' release date, gameplay news: New installment is better than 'Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare?'

The next installment of the "Battlefield" series has been announced by the game developer EA DICE. The reveal trailer of the "Battlefield 1" has already been released with more than 34 million views on YouTube. Many fans were thrilled by the action-packed trailer and most of them are pretty excited about the full game's release. According to numerous reports, die-hard fans of the game, along with critics, claimed that the new title looks better compared to Activision-Treyarch's "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."
It appears that "Battlefield 1" looks better on its first trailer compared to the new installment of the "Call of Duty" franchise. However, nobody can tell as of the moment if the World War I-themed game is the better overall title until both games are available in the market.
According to Jake Muncy from Wired, the gameplay setting of the "Battlefield 1" will be a big factor of how fans will receive the video game.
"World War I ... offers no clear-cut narrative of heroism or villainy, just squabbling dynasties vying for their own interests in a particularly brutal war," Muncy explained. "What do you do with that if you're a game designer trying to craft escapist entertainment?"
Meanwhile, the senior producer of "Battlefield 1," Aleksander Grondal, admitted that they are not really sure how fans will adapt to the setup of the game. However, he said that the World War I set up of the game will definitely give fans something more enjoyable compared to the rest of the competition.
"With regards to history, and telling history, that's not really what our expertise is. Our expertise is about creating experiences that are set in a time period," Grondal said, according to a report by CBC.
As of the moment, the company has yet to provide specific details with regard to the game's release date. Fans should stay tuned for more information about the highly anticipated "Battlefield."
