"Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" is well on its way to becoming one of the most talked about movies of all time even though it will only hit the big screen on April 29, 2016.

Shooting is currently underway in Chicago where certain locations have been transformed into iconic Gotham city landmarks for the film.

As filming progresses, there have been several leaks from the set, and images of Superman played by Henry Cavill flying on top of buildings. Recently, however, rumors about the film centered around the death of Bruce Wayne's parents. While the film features Bruce Wayne as an adult played by Ben Affleck, the plot also involves the death of his parents Thomas and Martha Wayne.

In the original comics and subsequent films and television series, the death of Bruce's parents has always been featured since it is the main reason why Bruce would later decide to become Batman.

News about the murder of Bruce's parents being part of "Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" came out when a Twitter user posted a video of the murder scene being shot in Chicago. Another important clue was that a theater nearby was shown to be playing the "Mask of Zorro," the movie the Waynes watched before being murdered.

Screenrant notes that the movie seems to follow the plot outlined in the comic titled "The Dark Knight Returns" in which an aging Bruce Wayne is inspired by the "Mask of Z" on TV to once more become Batman.
