'Bates Motel' season 4 spoilers: Norman to return home, Norma to team up with Romero
The last episode of A & E's psychological drama thriller "Bates Motel" season 4 featured Norman (Freddie Highmore) as he dug into his past to come face to face with the tough reality. Meanwhile, Norma (Vera Farmiga) also struggled to keep a secret of her own under wraps.
The 7<sup>th and forthcoming episode will see Norman make an unexpected discovery. What he finds out has yet to be known as it remains unclear, but it will surely be relevant enough to cause him to come back home. As seen in the past episode, Norman faced his dark past as well as his terrible memories while being in his therapy session, which affected him gravely. Reports say that what he reveals in the next episode will definitely come as a shock to fans.
Meanwhile, Norma will ask help from Sheriff Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) as she ventures in a new project. This might be in line with Norma's incestuous secret which Chick found out about. Her new husband does not know it yet, but the following episodes might finally reveal her dark secret.
As for Emma's (Olivia Cooke) character, episode 7 will put focus on her relationship with her mother. Dylan (Max Thieriot) will search for Emma's mother, but it will unfortunately stir up some trouble. The "trouble" that they will get into is yet to be known.
As noted by TV.com, the upcoming episode's summary reads: "A chance discovery spurs Norman to return home; Norma dives into new projects with Romero's help; and Dylan searches for Emma's mother, but has troubling results."
"Bates Motel" season 4 airs Mondays 9 p.m. on A & E. The upcoming episode for April 25 is titled "There's No Place Like Home," and it will be directed by Nestor Carbonell. The network has yet to release a promo clip for the next episode, but it will be out anytime soon.
