"Banshee" is now on its fourth and final season, and viewers will see Lucas Hood making his way in a new environment.

Lucas, a thief, previously left town and cut himself from his friends and family for two years, but now he has to return and face a new crime. It involves a serial killer, and while he tracks him down, he has to make amends with the people he left behind in Banshee Lead actor Antony Starr recently caught up with Collider where he shared some interesting aspects of the upcoming season. Given that season 4 will be the conclusion of Lucas' story, he mentioned that it will give fans closure with regards to his future and his identity as well.

"All of those huge, traumatic events that happened, from Season 1 through 3, but particularly in Season 3, had to have consequences," he stated. "It wasn't just about an eye for an eye, a truth for a truth, and finding revenge. It's about who the man is and where he goes from here and what he has to offer the world, if anything. For me, the inevitable launch pad for Season 4 was finding Lucas in the position that he's in, and then crawling back from there and figuring out where he fits in the world. I always wanted to go as dark and as deep as we could, and I feel like Season 4 was a very introspective season for Lucas, which I loved."

Starr also mentioned that he remains confident in terms of telling the whole story of his character. He believes that they left nothing out, baring everything that's left of Lucas' identity. All he hopes for is that the fans will agree once they see the episodes.

Meanwhile, fans are curious as to what Lucas' real name is, since it was previously mentioned that his name will not be revealed until the finale. However, Starr believes it's not as important, saying, "The labeling of a name, to me, is slightly irrelevant. It's really about what's going on internally for the character. I know all the fans want to know his name, but it's a little bit of a nod to the old Western idea of the no-name stranger. A little bit of the mystery goes, if you give the name up. That's not to say that we don't give it. I'm going to leave that a mystery, at the moment."

The fourth and final season of "Banshee" airs every Friday night on Cinemax.
