'Bad Blood': Taylor Swift to Unveil 'Dark' Music Video Featuring Her Friends this Sunday

Taylor Swift will unveil a new music video for her song "Bad Blood" this Sunday, May 17, at the Billboard Music Awards.
The song is from her latest album "1989." By the looks of the just released poster, the video will go the route of Frank Miller's "Sin City" movies, with its distinctive use of black, white and red colors. As the colors would suggest, the video will purportedly have a dark theme.
Swift will play a character called "Catastrophe." To date, the following have been confirmed to be part of the video: Victoria's Secret angel Martha Hunt (as Homeslice), Kendrick Lamar (Welvin Da Great), Lena Dunham (Lucky Fiori), Hailee Steinfeld (The Trinity), Karlie Kloss (as Knockout), Lily Aldridge (Frostbyte), Ellie Boulding (Destructa X), Gigi Hadid (Slay-Z), Haylee Williams (The Crimson Curse), Zendaya (Cutthroat), Seraya (Dilemma), and Jessica Alba (Domino). Each one has got his or her own individual character poster released.
It looks like most of Swift's friends made it to the video, although there are some notable absences – Selena Gomez and the Haim sisters among them.
Rumor has it that Gomez filmed a surprise cameo for the video. We shall see whether the Haim sisters will make it on to the video.
The tag line on the posters "Band-aids don't fix bullet holes," which is part of the lyrics of the song, adds dark flavor to the highly anticipated video.
Recently, Swift captioned the character poster of Kloss, "Catastrophe vs. Knockout," hinting at the storyline of the upcoming video-movie. As both wear leather gloves in their posters, it looks like there will be a fight between these two BFFs.
Hunt traded in her angel wings for samurai swords and a black outfit as "Homeslice." People were surprised when Alba was confirmed as "Domino."
The "Bad Blood" video will reportedly see Golden Globe winners, Emmy winners, Grammy winners, an Oscar nominee, blockbuster movie stars, as well as both new and iconic supermodels appearing as guests.
The music video is directed by Joseph Kahn, who also directed Swift's last music video, "Blank Space."
