'Avengers: Infinity War' release date, plot spoilers: To include Doctor Strange, Rocket Raccoon
After the showdown of the Earth's mightiest heroes in "Captain America: Civil War," the fans are now hyped for the next showcase of Marvel superheroes and supervillains in the much anticipated "Avengers" title, "Infinity War." The movie is expected to include a lot of details regarding the battle for the six powerful Infinity stones that it will be split into two parts, the first one scheduled for release in 2018. As early as now, there are already reports regarding the popular Marvel characters making an appearance in the two-part movie presentation.

If the reports are correct, the fans will see the charming but deadly Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) from the 2014 film "Guardians of the Galaxy." Also, the sorcerer supreme of the Marvel universe, Doctor Strange, will also play a part in the Infinity War.
In an interview with The Verge, "Avengers: Infinity War" writer Christopher Markus teased that the "Guardians of the Galaxy" member will have a role in the huge inter-galactic battle. However, it is not confirmed how huge Rocket's role in the events of "Infinity War" will be.
During the interview, Markus shared the description of the characters appearing in "Avengers: Infinity War" as "12-foot purple guy with a raccoon." While the "raccoon" part in his statement apparently pertains to Rocket, the purple-skinned man with a tall stature is not confirmed. However, many fans have speculated that this would be the main antagonist of the movie himself, Thanos.
In the same interview, Markus' co-writer, Stephen McFeely, said that Doctor Strange will also make an appearance in "Infinity War." The Sorcerer Supreme will be played by Benedict Cumberbatch in his solo movie arriving in theaters on November 4 this year. The movie is expected to introduce the Marvel viewers to the world of magic and sorcery. However, it is not known if Doctor Strange will use his magic to stop the war or to cause more conflict in the movie.
