'Attack on Titan' season 2 spoilers: two Erens featured in new image

"Attack on Titan" season 2 is not hitting the small screen until April. Thankfully, to tide fans over the long wait, the anime's animation director, Arifumi Imai, gifted them with a small look at the series.
She took to Twitter to share a black and white image featuring Eren, his Titan form looming over the brave soldier, who sported his scouting gear.
Admittedly, not much can be taken away from it with regard to the plot for "Attack on Titan" season 2, but it sure is exciting seeing bits of the anime before its release.
Fans who follow the bestselling manga by Hajime Isayama should have a good idea of what the second run of the anime has in store. After all, the adaptation closely follows its source material.
That being said, "Attack on Titan" season 2 will likely begin with the breach of Wall Rose, where it was discovered that there were Titans within the walls. This should begin the "Clash of the Titans" arc from the manga.
It is unclear how many story arcs "Attack on Titan" season 2 will cover this time. The first season covered four story arcs (with 36 chapters) in 25 episodes.
The "Clash of the Titans" arc already has 16 chapters. The story arc that will follow, "Uprising," has 20. Both should be enough to produce 25 episodes if the storytelling will be of the same pace as the first season.
There were rumors that "Attack on Titan" season 2 will catch up to the manga, which has already made massive development and revelations on the mystery of the Titan origin.
In other related news, Kodansha has clarified the report by Deadline that Warner Bros. is looking to make a live action "Attack on Titan" film with "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" producer David Heyman.
A representative of the manga publisher told Yahoo Japan that the report was erroneous, but there are negotiations happening.
