'Attack on Titan' season 2: Production on halt, release date delayed again

It was made clear to the public that the manga version of "Attack on Titan" needs to move four story arcs ahead before season 2 of the anime series arrives, but the show is delayed yet again.
The patience of fans will be tested as the production of "Attack on Titan" season 2 hits a brick wall, reports say. With the manga only two story arcs ahead instead of the complete four-story arcs to span the whole season, director Tetsuro Araki and writer Hajime Isayama agreed upon a temporary suspension for the series' production, as reported by Movie Pilot.
"The plotlines for the sophomore season will feature the 104th Trainees Squad as they go head to head with the Titans. In addition, Eren Yeager's secret for his Titan-like capabilities will be revealed," as posted by Bitbag.
While awaiting the series, fans of the franchise can enjoy the latest "Attack on Titan" game. It was released first in Japan last Feb. 18, and will arrive in North America and Europe later this year. Developed by omega Force and published by Koei Tecmo, the game was first introduced during a Gamescom event. A teaser was also unveiled Nov. 6 of last year as an additional detail to the Collector's Edition.
In terms of gameplay, the video game will share the plotline of the manga series, featuring a single player fighting multiple enemies. To reach high areas, a 3D maneuvering gear can be used. According to Wikipedia, the video game "Attack on Titan" sold approximately 150,682 copies for its debut week in Japan, beating Street Fighter V for the top spot. A combined total of 232, 896 copies has been sold as of March 6. A new downloadable content (DLC) video can now be streamed from Koei Tecmo as well, which is sure to delight fans while they anticipate the anime series.
