'Attack on Titan' Season 2 news, updates, rumors: Pastor Nick's real identity an important key to open next chapter?

The worldwide hit anime series "Attack on Titan" is currently working on its second season as many fans around the world wait for the next chapter in the battle between humans and the ferocious flesh-eating titans. There have been no official announcements about Season 2's premiere date, as well as the official plot details for the latest chapter, but there is no stopping the anime fans to check on rumors online from "reliable" sources and pass on their speculations. As of the meantime, the latest scoop for Season 2 involves a mysterious character that only some may be familiar to.
The character in question at this point is Pastor Nick. The Bitbag reported that he may be holding some secrets about the titans and how a humongous beast managed to be on the wall as seen in the recent preview. It was surprising for several fans that Pastor Nick came forward and approached one of the squad leaders to advise that the titan must not be allowed to be exposed to sunlight.
"Now, you're going to explain this to me. This titan, what type is it? Why is there a titan in the wall in the first place? And most of all, why have you kept quiet about this," asked by the high standing veteran member of the Survey Corps and squad leader, Hang Zoe. This particular scene in the preview also shows the particular titan being covered up by the wall, heeding the advice of Pastor Nick. However, the squad leader did not stop asking Pastor Nick about the truth behind the wall titan. She even threatened the old man to be "thrown off" the wall if he will not speak of more details.
"Killing me will do no good, that is because our life is not precious enough to allow us to speak," Pastor Nick bravely responded, as he remained silent and firm not to disclose any more information.
Pastor Nick is described in the Attack On Titan Wikipedia page as an alcoholic man who lost his family due to his negligence and addiction. He became a religious leader and used this high position to oppose any motions to modify the walls protecting the city. He does not like the walls' gates to be permanently sealed or even to be mounted by canons on the top. He connected the act of changing the wall to blasphemy that is highly offensive to their religion, although the real reason appears to be a continuous cover-up of the titans enclosed by the walls.
