'Attack on Titan' season 2 news: additional footage from new season revealed

A slightly different trailer for "Attack on Titan" season 2 has surfaced online. The clip, which was shown in Japan, had additional clips that feature Mikasa and other Titans.
One of the clips inserted shows Mikasa and Eren, who was seen badly wounded. It is believed this comes from one of the first episodes of "Attack on Titan" season 2.
This scene likely happens hot on the heels of the events in the waning moments of the first season. The other clip inserted in the "Attack on Titan" season 2 trailer features Titans rushing from the forest.
"Attack on Titan" season 2 will even be more brutal and bloody than the first season, which is saying something because a lot of blood was shed in the first run of the anime.
However, it will also be enlightening to the people behind the wall as they will learn that not all Titans are out to get them. Some actually protect them.
Despite finding allies in some of the creatures, humanity remains in the face of danger in "Attack on Titan" season 2 as the Wall Rose is breached. It is even revealed that walls that have been keeping the people from the Titans are made of Titans too.
"Attack on Titan" season 2 is expected to bring to life just the fifth and sixth story arcs in the manga. These are "Clash of Titans" and "Uprising." The first season covered the first four.
The number of chapters in these two story arcs is enough to translate into 25 episodes should Wit Studio keep the same storytelling pace as in the first season.
However, it is believed that "Attack on Titan" season 2 will attempt to catch up to the manga, which had major plot developments in the latest chapters, especially with regard to the origin of the Titans.
"Attack on Titan" season 2 premieres in April.
