Attack On Titan Season 2 Air Date: Delay Moves Date to 2015?

Season two of the anime series Attack On Titan is not going to come out anytime this year. Anime buffs might take this as bad news, as the first season screened in 2013 and since then there has been no word on season two.
However, iDigitalTimes notes that fans of the hottest anime series around have nothing to worry about, because Wit Studios who created the series have been working on OVAs. These OVAs (original video animation) will be bundled along with the Attack On Titan magna. iDigitalTimes released part of a statement from Wit Studios that explained more about the OVAs "This year we've got our hands full producing an anime that will be bundled with a limited edition of "Attack on Titan" manga, which tells a different sort of story than what we did in the TV series"
In April it was reported on the Internet that Attack On Titan Season 2 would come out in July 2014. iDigitalTimes notes that didn't happen and the source of the story was found to be an April Fool's prank. As for season 2, given that Wit Studios has a lot on their plate with the OVAs there no chance of it happening this year.
According to iDigitalTimes there is another reason why the second season had to be delayed. This is because the original magna which is the source material for the anime series, has only thirteen volumes. Of these thirteen over eight and half were covered in the first season. So with very little source material to work from, Wit Studios had to delay the second season.
With the 14th and 15 volume of the magna due to be released soon, iDigitalTimes estimates that production on the second season of the anime will only start after they are released. Which means the earliest Season 2 might be released could be sometime after July 2015.
