Asus Zenfone 3 release date, specs rumors 2016: New design release in June will top Zenfone 2 with Snapdragon 625?
It can't be denied that ASUS achieved a huge milestone with the release of ZenFone 2. The high-end device set the bar high, being the first smartphone to sport of 4 GB RAM. As successful as the smartphone design may be, there is no stopping the tech giant to exceed their own success and come up with a brand new design for their product. Tech fans have been following the updates for the anticipated ZenFone 3, and so far the news have been positive that ASUS will release the new design soon with top-of-the-line specs descriptions.

Softpedia reported a statement made by ASUS finance director, Nick Wu. Many speculate that the company will unveil the ZenFone 3 sometime in the middle of 2016. Wu seemed to confirm the rumor that the latest ZenFone design will arrive in mid-2016.
"We hope to introduce a new flagship smartphone at the end of June and start producing mass in July," Wu said.
However, even if ASUS were to release the ZenFone 3 sometime in June, people cannot expect that it would also be made available globally on the same month. ASUS is known to have global releases of their products in the past, but the tech company is also known to fill up the Southeast Asian markets first before hitting the other portions of the world. It is expected that the new Zenfone design will first arrive in countries such as India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.
With regards to the specs, the ZenFone 3 is rumored to possess the new generation technology for today's gadgets. According to Android Headline, who reported the unboxing of a new unnamed ASUS phone model by GFXBench, the ZenFone 3 may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, set to run at 2 GHz. Its display feature is also said to be impressive, with 5.5 -inch panel with 1920 x 1080 resolution. It will also be equipped with 7 MP selfie snap, although it may actually be an 8-MP smartphone unit.
