Ever since it was reported that Asus is planning to release their upcoming flagship smartphone, Asus Zenfone 3, it has been surrounded by numerous rumors and leaks. According to reports, the Taiwan-based company is currently hyping up the inevitable release of the much-anticipated device.

According to several reports, the company will be taking part at the Computex 2016, which is expected to start at the end of this month in Taiwan. Asus followers are hoping that the company will reveal the upcoming smartphone at the event.

As of the moment, Asus has been pretty reserved when it comes to details about the Zenfone 3. The specs and features consumers find over the Internet are just speculations created by tech observers who based their assumptions from previous releases and current ones from other manufacturers.

The Antutu benchmark results suggest that the handset will come out in the market in three variants. The base model will be the Zenfone 3; the Zenfone 3 Deluxe variant will have less superior specs compared to the base model; however it carries a larger screen. The Zenfone 3 Max is said to be the top of the line model, which is expected to compete with Samsung's Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

According to earlier reports, the Zenfone 3 and the Max variants will be both carrying a 5.5-inch display. They will also run on Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm. Meanwhile, the larger Deluxe version of Zenfone 3 will sport a 5.9-inch display. However, the latest leaks from AsusClub show the Max model as the larger handset from all three variants.

All three devices are expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Rumor has it that all three of them will have a 23-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front snapper.

For now, fans will have to stay tuned for more information about the device. It is advisable to take all these details with a grain of salt until the company releases an official statement.
