Ubisoft has recently revealed a new comparison trailer for "Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection."

In the video, viewers are given a side-by-side comparison of the PlayStation 3 versions of "Assassin's Creed II," "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood," and "Assassin's Creed Revelations" to the updated versions in the said collection. The clip features the improvements done on those last-gen games, including a bump in resolution, better draw distance and visual post-processing effects. Other tweaks done to the games are improved textures and reduced screen tearing to optimize gaming experience.

Aside from the game titles, "Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection" will include a short film titled "Assassin's Creed: Lineage," and an animated epilogue to "Revelations." titled "Assassin's Creed: Embers."

On another note, the next installment of "Assassin's Creed" is currently in the works and will possibly be set in Egypt. During Ubisoft's earnings call earlier this month, CEO Yves Guillemot gave an update on the game's development. "We can't say much about that yet--we are working hard on this game and it will be launched when ready," he said. CFO Alain Martinez also chimed in, saying: "It's a great game. I've seen it. It's looking good."

Although the latest title is expected to arrive next year, VP Tommy Francois previously clarified that a 2017 release for the new "Assassin's Creed" game is far from happening. "We believe Alpha for these games needs to be one year before release," he stated. "We're trying to achieve that." Francois further explained that they need to stretch the timeline in order to make the project more polished and ensure that it is of high quality.

"Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection" is slated to be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America on Nov. 15 and in Europe on Nov 17. Ubisoft has yet to announce an official launch date for the latest installment, which is rumored to be out by 2017.
