'Ash vs. Evil Dead' season 2 spoilers: Stars hint future for Kelly and Pablo's romance; Ash reunites with his estranged father in Elk Grove

Ash (Bruce Campbell) will reunite with his estranged father while Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) and Pablo's (Ray Santiago) romance continues in the upcoming second season of Starz's hit zombie series "Ash vs. Evil Dead."
One of the highlights last season is when Kelly gets possessed and seduces Pablo. Since he is obviously into her, he assumed that Kelly had the same feelings for him. The first season may have wrapped up with Kelly putting Pablo in the friend zone, but DeLorenzo hints a continuation of the duo's love story might happen in season 2.
"I think it is safe to say you will see them get even closer this season, but if there's one thing they learn being around Ash, in their world if they get together, one of them is going to end up dead," she told Geeks of Doom. "Whomever you get closer to will end up dead, so what I will tease is that you have to see the season to see if they can beat the odds or if the house of evil will win."
Santiago also caught up with the same publication, where he shared interesting teasers on the Kelly-Pablo romance arc. "... I will say that Pablo wants three things in life in the 'Evil Dead' world: he would like to stay alive, he would like to be a hero and save the world, and he would like to get the girl and do whatever it takes to get there, and I can tell you that in season 2, at least one of those things happens," he said.
Aside from facing Deadites, Ash must also deal with his estranged father Brock Williams. Portrayed by veteran TV actor Lee Majors, Brock blames Ash for all his misfortunes and his arrival in Elk Grove will lead to many confrontations between the father and son.
Catch the season 2 premiere of "Ash vs. Evil Dead" on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 10 p.m. EST on Starz.
