New photos of The CW's TV show "Arrow" have recently surfaced, revealing a new costume for the titular character. Stephen Amell, who portrays billionaire Oliver Queen aka "Arrow," recently teased that he will be portraying three versions of Oliver this season.

Amell posted one of the production photos on his Twitter. Like his previous costume, this one is green and is made of leather. However, it now has sleeves unlike last season's get-up.

Recent reports suggested that the change could be due to the Flashpoint universe. To note, in the second season of "The Flash," the titular character once again traveled back in time and attempted to save his mother. Unlike before, the speedster actually succeeded this time. In the process, Flash altered the universe's course of events. However, this altered timeline will not only be specific to "The Flash." The forthcoming seasons of DC/CW shows will also depict an altered timeline as a consequence of Flash's actions.

In another tweet, Amell teased, "Wrapped episode 97 last night. Most times I get to play two versions of Oliver. This time? Three."

A source suggested that the three Oliver versions could be Island Oliver, Team Arrow Oliver and Flashpoint Oliver. Based on the comic books, Flashpoint Oliver leads a military contracting company, Green Arrow Industries, which secretly steals technologically advanced devices for the army to utilize.

Although many believe that Amell could have been referring to that particular Oliver, there has been no official confirmation about the recent speculations.

Furthermore, a crossover episode featuring characters from "Supergirl," "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow" is slated to premiere on the 100th episode of "Arrow." IGN reported that this will be the first time for Arrow to meet Kara aka Supergirl (Melissa Benoist).

The fifth season of "Arrow" will return to The CW on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 8 p.m. EDT.
